The team managed to plant some trees in between the showers on Sunday. First off they added a dozen young trees around the golf course on Peak Hill. Then it was off to Stowford. Last summer’s extreme weather killed two of the trees that were planted in 2020. We managed to give a home to a Deodar Cedar and Blue Spruce that had been in pots in a supporter’s garden for several years. We hope they will enjoy getting their roots into the ground.

Dear Sidmouth Arboretum.
I have a few (up to 8) small Monterey Pine trees that I have grown from seed collected a few years ago. Might they be of any interest to the Sidmouth Arboretum?
(Seed was from fallen cones collected on the hilltop behind Killerton House.)
The trees are in small pots / containers. I have nowhere suitable to plant the trees out (no garden where I live – in Exeter.
