In 2024, Exeter University hosted the Valuing Treescapes Conference. This included a presentation by Sir Harry Studholme from the Perridge Estate near Dunchideock. The talk was then published in the Quarterly Journal of Forestry. It is a very thoughtful and thought provoking view of woods and forests.
