|Botanical Name||Sequoiadendron giganteum|
|Common Name||Wellingtonia or Giant Redwood|
|Notes||A baby at only about 100 years old, this tree died in early 2020, possibly drowned in the waterlogged soil after a very wet January and February. The larger specimen in Hunters Moon Hotel is also not very healthy but we still have the two in the Knowle, a large one in the secret garden of Balfour Manor, and possibly Sidmouth's largest one in Redwood Road.|
